VIDEO: Javon Walker thinks FSU is in the SEC
Javon Walker came under heat last season by violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Walker, now a free agent, is in an interesting position considering the current NFL labor situation. If a team signs him, they will be taking on a 32 year-old wide receiver who can play AT MOST 12 games. Of course, in the current labor situation, there is no free agency. So Walker is left working out and being interviewed for random companies.
Which brings us to this video, where Walker is asked who he thinks will win the BCS National Championship in 2011. Walker chooses this opportunity to promote Florida State, where he finished his collegiate career from 2000-2001. Seems like a pretty sane bet considering the talent the Seminoles are bringing back from last year’s ACC runner-up squad. But in the explanation he makes a pretty obvious error in the category of “conference affiliation” when he says the Seminoles can prove themselves because they play in the SEC.
Yeah, so there’s that. Enjoy…
Anthony: Jared, I’m not done talking – the ball is coming to YOU.

Jared Jeffries said he should have shot it when Carmelo passed him the ball under the basket with less than 10 seconds left and the score at 94-93.
Hindsight is 20/20 my friend, just ask the Buffalo Bills, Portland Trailblazers (passed on drafting both Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant), or whoever the guy is that decided to give scholarships to Larry Drew and the Wear twins.
Serious Sports: Last Chance for Sidney Lowe (Download Link)
On Wednesday, we stopped by with Dave to discuss the importance of the North Carolina game to Sidney Lowe. With many Wolfpackers howling for his head, can he beat North Carolina to earn back some of his lost fans?

Last Chance For Sidney Lowe
N.C. State coach Sidney Lowe might just have the hottest seat in the conference. They’ll put up with missing the tournament for a few years in Raleigh, but getting beat like a drum by North Carolina and Duke wears out a welcome quickly. With apologies to Tom Petty, Wednesday night’s game might just be the “Sidney Lowe’s Last Chance”
